2021 Kia Sorento Now In Nepal; Price and Details

The all-new 2021 Kia Sorento SUV has been introduced in the Nepalese market. Kia's latest Sorento which was named ‘Large SUV of the Year’ at the 2021 What Car? Car of the Year Awards will now be cruising on Nepalese roads.The latest Kia Sorento will be available in two variants: EXI and Executive. The 2021 Kia Sorento SUV has been priced at Rs 1.69 Crore for the EXI variant and Rs 1.89 Crore for the Executive variant. Both variants are available in automatic gearbox options only. The 2021 Sorento gets a 2.2-liter 4 cylinder diesel unit that makes 198 hp and 440 Nm of torque and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission unit. The new Sorento gets an AWD drivetrain.The all-new Sorento gets a revised exterior compared to the outgoing model. At the front, the new Sorento brings a broad and angular grille and picks up many of the cues established by the upcoming Kia Optima/K5. Kia's signature ‘tiger-nose grille seamlessly flows into the headlights and LED daytime running lights. The sides of the SUV are also particularly eye-catching thanks to sharp rear side windows and a decorative piece of silver trim on the C-pillar. The rear end has loads of creases and geometric openings, while the rest of the body is a bit more subtle.Inside, the 2021 Sorento looks spectacular. Gathering all the attention is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system while beneath it are some physical air conditioning and heating controls, you also get a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The vents are shaped like trapezoids, and the door handles have a beveled square design. The dashboard features aluminum trims with diamond grid patterns. Jazzing up the interior is colorful ambient lighting and all-black leather trim.The new Sorento measures 4,810mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,700mm high. It gets a wheelbase of 2,815mm and a ground clearance of 176mm. Fuel tank capacity stands at 67 litres while the minimum turning radius is 11.6m. You also get 18"/19" alloy wheels depending upon the variant. The 2021 Sorento will be available in six colours - Silky Silver, Steel Grey, Mineral Blue, Aurora Black, Gravity Blue, and Snow White Pearl.The 2021 Kia Sorento brings all the safety features you'd expect from a large family SUV and apart from that you are getting features like Blind Spot View Monitor, Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, Junction Assist, Colour Head-Up Display, and Multi Collision Brake.
